This spider sculpture is both pretty and poisonous. I love the mix of using pretty fabrics and creating something a little dark and often a little scary. Spiders are perfect for this mix as they are either adored or detested. These spiders are made from vintage hand stitched tapestry's. This particular spider is mostly a dark red wine colour with pastel flashes of lilac,sage green,a soft orange and pistachio.
