What a darling face! This little cow is painted on a 3" x 6" subway tile. The tile is handmade, and all its wonderful imperfections are evident along the sides and top. The painting was made on the reverse (rough) side of the tile and the strong orange "back tone" color can be seen peeking through here and there throughout the image. Unlike many of my other farm animal paintings I painted part of the image (the hay) over the frame - it looks cool! This frame is so very original wit its different shapes in different widths - I just love it!
