The first 2 weeks of December is a great time at Chitabe. The first rains have come, giving the vegetation its first flush of green and all this new growth has stimulated a proliferation of new born herbivores. All the predators eagerly await this period too. Wild dogs with their pups take advantage of this bounty. Cooler conditions and lots of prey are all the dogs need to have fun.
