Hugo. Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. Based on Brian Selznick's novel. The Invention of Hugo Cabret & directed by Martin Scorsese. Lovely film featuring a boy who is brave, creative, lonely and struggling to live without his father.
"A Cat In Paris" - The story is brilliant (young girl trying to cope with her fathers death by distracting herself with her cat - Dino- who has another life at night (as the companion to an art thief) and the animation even better (in the French sort of way at least, really back to the basics). It was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature ...
“Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” is a sequel of sorts from the 2008 movie, “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” but only two things link the two together. One, they are both loosely based of Jules Verne novels and Josh Hutcherson. In the first movie, Hutcherson plays Sean, who goes on an exciting adventure with his uncle played by Brendan Fraser.
