The depth of this man Alvin Morrow's understanding on how the infamous Willie Lynch Slave making techniques forced me to probe slavery lingering effects on my own conscious. I guarantee that who ever reads this book will never again be the same.

Book Review: Sugar by Bernice McFadden & Giveaway
GOG! 2000 Reading list - Sugar by Bernice McFadden. This book is not for the faint hearted I will say right off the bat. The best way to describe it to me is raw and blunt- it is not a book prettied up for people to read- it’s authentic. It gives us real life back in the 1950′s for the African Americans living in the deep South. To me, this is what makes this book so powerful. (Peeking between the pages) ** click pic for more
