'Hand of the Desert' (c.1980). In the desert, about 75km south of the town of Antofagasta, Chile, a 36' tall hand protrudes out of the sand. 'Mano de Desierto' is a work of the Chilean sculptor Mario Irarrázabal. via travel and leisure
