Palet /reclaimed wood picture. Just shows you what you can do with a bit of ingenuity, patience & a splash of color here & there. Some very good pieces of work at this etsy shop, well worth a look. I liked the small side table in the "tree of Life" shot although that isn't actually on sale. But the other things are good too, great inspiration for using up all those scrap bits ;)
I made a small pallet shelf to fit in a small bathroom, just so there would be some extra storage. I was lucky to find a pallet with long and wide planks, and I used those for the back. Then I ripped down a piece of a pallet that had 3/4" wood on it, and made some cleats for some extra support on the shelves. Then screwed into the shelves from the back with 2.5" screws, as well as screwing into the top of the shelves into the cleats to make sure the shelves are not going anywhere.

This potting bench is so very simple to make, and so pretty as well as functional. Use 4 x 4's or fence posts with post caps (wood finials), 1 x 4's for the flat surfaces and outside trim boards. She uses cedar which will turn a dark gray, you can also use pressure treated wood and stain it or let it weather gray as well. Simple and easy to make!
