This dress was custom-made for the role of Mary Queen of Scots at a renaissance faire. The antique gold fabric is entirely beaded with freshwater pearls. There are 20 large broaches (imported from Europe) sewn into the bodice and over skirt, with over 40 smaller broaches sewn into the black velvet forepart. The velvet hanging sleeves have been pinked in a diamond pattern and are lined in silk.
