Hungarian Chicken Paprikash (Chicken and Dumplings)
This is my Grandmothers version of Hungarian Chicken Paprikash. If there is food served in Heaven, I am sure this is on the menu! My Grandmother was the best cook ever. She would have this hardy dish ready and we could hardly wait! Now I serve it to my Grandchildren, and they love it as well! Down home pure comfort food.
Homemade Chicken and Dumplings: Although after the flour is mixed for the dumplings roll it out and slice into 1in by 1in squares (easiest with a pizza cutter) and then add to the pot. Also you can add a bit of flour to the pot before adding the dumpling dough to make it have more of a gravy texture
