MANUFACTURED URBANISM Taking Advantage of Community Assets, such as bodies of water, can be crucial in creating a sense of identity in a community. When an identity is established, users will be more enthusiastic about their communities and would encourage younger generations to stay rather than migrate. This in turn would create a strong community where the users are constantly working to improve their own environment rather than leaving to create new ones.

 The monumental pavilion that opening toward the Chicago river create the peoples gathering space and contribute for nice riverfront landscape. The design reminds me the traditional Asian pavilion.
