Rusty Chic: COR-TEN Metal Siding

It’s reasonable for people to avoid rust in their home, but here’s one instance that rust can be not only functional, but pretty cool looking, too — weathered steel siding.A 242, A 588, and A 606, are all types of steel, more commonly known as weathering steel, or its trademarked name, COR-TEN. It was developed to eliminate the need for painting steel, and instead develops a layer of rust after a time of being exposed to the elements.
