deer resistant flowers
Cindy Lepore Hart
Daffodil, deer resistant. I have lived in heavily wooded areas with deer forever. Daffodils are the Only flower deer do not eat. They are a very old flower that developed a toxic odor and taste to the deer. (per my Vetnarian). When they sniff it they quickly move on. Plant alot of them in with other flowers. When daffodil blooms are gone, Don't cut away their leaves because odor remains and will help discourage deer from rest of other non-daffodil flowers.
