Ajrak, also known as Ajrakh, is a unique form of block-printing found mostly in Sindh, Pakistan, and Ajrakhpur, Kutch district, India. In Arabic, the word means “blue” and in Kutchi and Persian it means “keep it today”. Ajrakh printing brilliantly celebrates nature. This is evident in the aesthetics of its color and motif unification.
