What I like about this logo would be that the designer used serif and sans serif fonts, because they really complement each other. But one thing that I dislike would be that the designer put LAUR DRAE & COMPANY in the middle of the logo.
It's a very appropriate choice of font for an art festival. The brush strokes in the font are a direct indication of the painting process. It also works well with the colorful strokes of the background.
The creator of these logos has used a unique approach to typography. By playing with and arranging letters, very creative logos were formed. These simple, yet interesting logos are an example of the power that typography can have in design.
