The bench seating was built to fit this 1940's schoolhouse desk and chairs I have been holding on to. I removed the old finish and simply treat the table with mineral oil for a natural look. I made the bench pads and added the pillows to match the season. This is the third house to use these hand forged copper and brass pendants. The peninsula divides it from the rest of the kitchen. It is a bright spot in the morning with a windows on both sides of the bench.
