Building with assurance This is a difficult to categorize duplex. The balanced façade, side sunporch, and shutters on the second floor are characteristic of Colonial Revival. The stucco finish with brick foundation could easily become Mediterranean Revival with a few stylistic additions and a tile roof. The large expanses of stucco with simplified forms share some characteristics with British Arts and Crafts. Some call this Transitional Style, common after 1900 to the 20s.
