DIY Twist Ties are fun and easy to make and the perfect addition to small gifts - I use twist ties to connect my thread spools to the bobbin with matching thread. The bread wrapper ties are a little too short;

I always look at the tie and then the expiration date to get the freshest bread. Dig loaves out from the back also.  Go by the first letter of the tag color. Monday is B (blue) tuesday G (green) Wed. R(red) the later in the week-the deeper in the alphabet you go.
