To draw well, students need to learn to see the edge or contour of things.  I teach this using 8 x 8 blinder cards on the top of the drawing hand.   Right: Here third graders are doing an   introductory warm-up by drawing some bent wire.

Masking Tape Observational Drawing In this piece I used the following materials masking tape, black paper, craft knife and pencil. I used the pencil to help knowing where the masking tape should go and it made it easy for me to know where to use the masking tape and where to cut off with the craft knife, to start giving the form to the skeleton and by using the masking tape on top of each other made and gave the light and dark tone to my work.

Through working in this way I have learnt how to geometric draw a digital camera with patience I have found the easy way to draw and enlarged my knowledge on drawing. This piece contains the following characteristics soft, hard and dark pencil techniques on all of them. I also used blue ink, a paint brush and water to give that effect on the fourth drawing. I also tried to used on the fifth and sixth drawings water pencils and colour pastels on black paper as experiments.

This is a spine a unfinished piece with many techniques used such as pencil on the paper without taking it out, hard and soft use of graphite stick and pencil and rubber to clear the dis necessary pencil and graphite lines.

Through working in this way I have learnt how to observe the skeleton by doing many skeleton drawing in which improved this skeleton drawing. In this piece I used soft and hard lines and did a lot of experiments on the same paper with the pencil by doing that I discover the form of the skeleton easier and made the skeleton look real and 3D.

This piece was my first Skelton observational drawing I was guided to use my pencil on the paper without taking out to see the effect it would end up with, I ended up we range of lines every where and after that tried to give the skeleton the actual form by adding hard lines and rubbering off the excess of lines.
