Time Zones above a global/geography bulletin board in my classroom. I liked this idea and putting the clocks above a global map or globe. This will get children thinking about time zones and realizing that places around the world are not the same as us.
It would be a good way to channel students' focus when talking about different civilizations or eras. It breaks a huge idea down to six different topics, with varying complexities. It could be altered a little to be more applicable.
Using foldables in an interactive notebook for maps and landforms unit in social studies. *I would tweak this so that it can be used for Texas Landforms such as coastal plains, mountain basins, great plains, central plains regions.
