While living in Utah, I learned about Isadora Duncan. She was a revolutionary dancer at the turn of the century. She danced barefoot, and wore mostly scarves when she performed her free-formed, fluid dances. At the time when proper ballet was the trend, she turned pop culture on its head and changed the expression of dance forever.
Isadora Duncan was fond of scarves and actually was killed when one of her trademark long scarves became entangled in the wheel spoke of the car she was in.
This reminds me of Ophelia's madness, the movement and the type of dance she may be doing in her insanity
