Kuze, the Laughing Man in early versions of the script, was one of the first things Rupert asked us to look at at Weta. I worked on the character for a good 9 months in pre-production, with lots of changes and redesigns as Michael Pitt came on board and we got closer to the shoot. Turns out he was redesigned again in editing - regardless, he was fun to work on!
