An AFFOGATO is a traditional Italian espresso-based treat that you’ll find on the menu at many Italian restaurants, as well as at many cafes serving espresso and other coffee drinks. The full name is really “affogato al cafe” or “drowned in coffee,” in Italian. The name really suits the dessert, as it consists of a scoop of ice cream/gelato with a shot of hot espresso poured over the top.
How to make an espresso martini
GREY GOOSE® ORIGINAL: EXPRESSO MARTINI GREY GOOSE Original vodka complements the delicate sweetness of the coffee liqueur which is perfectly balanced with espresso and topped with a thin layer of cream. Combine all ingredients (with exception of cream) in a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupette. Cover with a thin layer of organic cream and, If you wish, a light dusting of chocolate powder. #FlyBeyond
