Stop Crab Mentality!

Pessoas fortes nunca derrubam as outras… – Michael P. Watson

The Crab Mentality A lid is quickly rendered unnecessary when fishing for crabs because if even one crab tries to escape the other crabs begin to pull it down in a horrific "king of the mountain" quest.Unfortunately no crab can ever escape the basket when the primary focus of the collective group is to bring the other crab down. As you pursue your dream many people will try to bring you down... for a myriad of reasons - but most of them quite shellfish. My book is a survival guide of how to…

"Have you heard to the bucket of crabs theory?...It states that if there are several crabs in a bucket, and one tries to climb out, the others will pull him back down. Crab mentality, sometimes referred to as crabs in the bucket, is a phrase that describes a way of thinking best described by the phrase "if I can't have it, neither can you." The metaphor refers to a pot of crabs. Individually, the crabs could easily escape from the pot, but instead they grab at each other in a useless "king of the hill" competition which prevents any from escaping and ensures their collective demise.
