Buy valspar bonding primer for glossy surfaces and a good quality latex paint with a gloss finish (more gloss = scratch resistance). Use foam rollers and foam "brushes" for hard to reach areas. Let primer dry 2hrs before painting. I used 2 coats of paint (wait 2hrs minimum between coats). Follow the instructions on the paint cans for temperatures and other care just to be safe. If changing handles, make sure the new ones fit before any painting. Enjoy!
Repainting! No sanding needed! Just some spray paint that is both primer and paint from Home Depot! This is satin which is not too flat or too shiny! And the handles are sprayed with metallic paint spray! Great for saving money and doing just a lil remodel/upgrade without buying all new furniture!!
