Rodin. This is probably my favourite piece of art ever. He hasn't just captured the detail of the hands. But the emotion of a lover's touch. It takes my breath away. Pinned from my friend Jenn's blog. www.earthfirewaterearth.blogspot.com

Auguste Rodin - The Kiss (Le Baiser). One of my faves at the Rodin Museum.
The Kiss - Auguste Rodin. One of his most famous sculptures portrays the 13th-century Italian aristocrat Francesca da Rimini, who fell in love with her husband’s younger brother, Paolo; according to the tale in Dante’s Inferno, when their romance was uncovered, her husband killed them.
