The creator of this image is unknown, but just from looking at it you know that they were a feminist and believed that women could do the same jobs that men do.

The iconic WW2 propaganda Poster - "We Can Do It !" The lives of Canadian women were changed during WW2. When the men went off to fight in the war, the women took over their jobs. They worked in factories, became engineers, mechanics and nurses. This gave them freedom and it helped lessen the discrimination towards women. Gaining this different view on women, as well as freedom changed the future for the lives Canadian women.
