The name means "where man met the gods." Teotihuacan is also known for its large residential complexes, and numerous colorful, well-preserved murals.
Teotihuacan, Mexico - Pyramid of the Moon. My husband and I climbed this in 2012. The 'stairs' are very, very steep and made of blocks approximately 18" in height. The rope in the center is for hanging on and pulling yourself up!
