I read lots of articles about punching and the jury still seems to be out on whether punching is advisable or not in a self defence situation. The scaphoid bone is the most fractured carpal bone. The lunate is the most subluxated (displaced). The capitate is the first carpal bone to ossify (harden) and the pisiform is the last.
