The Badlands region in the Utah is famous for its arid and unforgiving landscape, which is decorated by sharp and eroded spires of stone. If you catch it at just the right moment and in the right conditions, however, these apparent wastelands can give birth to an extraordinary explosion of color and life in the form of beautiful wildflowers.
This was by far one of my favorite places in Utah. Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument is underrated and absolutely stunning. This waterfall behind me is called Lower Calf Creek falls, takes a small hike to get here but it’s worth every step.
Even if you are familiar with Utah you might be surprised at some of the places on this list. We stopped in all five National Parks, seven State Parks, three National Monuments, and a handful of other places of interest.
