Rapunzel in Sunshine by Tamdoll, sideview
Pattern assembled from a montage of designs from quiltplus.net. Cotton, embellished with glass and wood beads, sequins and quilting. 16" leather handles. Magnetic snap. The handbag was inspired this summer by the Rapunzel cut of fabric. The more I worked on it (and as the season changed into fall...), the more it looked like "summertime" to me, and the shiny beads, along with the green handles made me smile each time I looked at it.
