From left: Gemini Pilots Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell The Gemini 12 mission was a manned spaceflight launched on November 11, 1966 as the concluding mission of NASA’s Gemini program. The objectives were to dock with the Agena target vehicle and conduct three spacewalks. The mission included conducting 14 scientific experiments and taking pictures of the total eclipse over South America. Gemini 12 returned to earth on the 15th of November.
