A mass planting of the blue-grey sedge, Carex flacca, an attractive, low-growing ground cover which spreads slowly by rhizomes. Often used to stop soil erosion and on slopes.It's a cool season sedge native to grasslands, sand dunes, and marshes in Europe and Northern Africa.
