I wanted to dive into this cake sooooooo badly. I have made a 6” version of this cake before, but this time used a new recipe from @livforcake . In all the years that I have been making cakes, have never made a Swiss meringue buttercream. I have always stuck to American Buttercream, but I may consider using it more in the future because of how smooth, silky, light and fluffy it was. Did I mention how smooth it was to scrape? This Swiss meringue had the centers (separated) of the Golden Oreos and crumbs. It was delicious.
