Kokedama Bonsai are small balls of compost and soil wrapped in moss (Koke=Moss Dama=Ball). Thety are suitable for a variety of plants and in this example of Kokedama Bonsai I am using Asparagus Fern, this is a very hardy plant and makes a beautiful display piece. Because of the small size of the ball the plants will usually stay small with the inside of the ball allowing the development of the plant's root system.
