Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi-MacAdam is considered one of Japan's leading fiber artists, using knitting and crochet as the foundation for much of her work. Her website explains that she specializes in "creating large, interactive textile environments that function both as imaginative and vibrant explorations of color and form, at the same time as providing thrilling play environments."

American Ideal.. this is such a beautiful house.. I remember the unique portico as Beeing a characteristic Virginia feature.. good night from Europe. A wonderful client from Virginia, who's family was there well before the US were founded, reminds me of the almost incomparably long history of the City on the Hill as a working democracy.. something we admire -and remember, need- about America very much. of course it's all far removed from a Republic of Gentleman Farmers on both sides of the…
