In the search for the perfectly fitting 1930s blouse I turned to making my own using a bespoke pattern block and fabric from ClothSpot.

Vintage 1930s blouse is dramatic but sweet, a coup for cocktail hour with satin trousers or to add a bit of glamour to a daytime ensemble. The lustrous silk charmeuse is a bright ivory - the same color and type as bridal satin of the era. The sleeves are short and puffed, complementing the cropped, bloused fit.
