😀l’ve started a new small sketchbook based on an idea by @emmacarlisle_ ‘30 paces from home’ This little sketchbook now accompanies me on my daily morning walks. I’m able to spend 30 minutes filling double-page spreads with mixed media ( pretty random selection hence odd palette choices) This ritual has become my daily mindfulness practice, grounding me in the present moment as I capture whatever I see around me.These sketches aren’t meant to be fully finished or realized pieces. For day 6 of the sketchbook challenge I chose to paint a couple of images from my local cycle path. The techique I used here was using a restricted colour palette.
