Amelia Earhart Costume Halloween 2017
Amelia Earhart, as the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic, was a pioneer in both senses of the word. Tragically, she disappeared during her 1937 attempt to circle the globe, and mysteries about what happened linger to this day.
This costume only requires a few key elements to make it work: 1. Aviator hat & goggles (essential). 2. Sturdy coat or jacket (preferably long or bomber style). 3. Knee high leather boots with tucked in trousers (can be stockings for ladies wearing a short bustle skirt).
