The good Lord knows I didn't need anymore lights...but when I saw this light hanging in a foyer, I knew it would be perfect as a cloche. I took out the hardware, which was easy, and then cut an all thread to attach the top lid to the tip so it wouldn't be seen. Then the fun part came and I started painting it with a brush.
