Today's card was made with the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set. It's really so simple but so pretty. It reminds me of being a child and blowing on a dandelion and making a wish.

Happy Friday! Happy Birthday to my Dad!!! Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for him! It's a chip bag slider card! The SVG is from SVG Cutting Files. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's "Funny Valentine" For the chips I used light yellow paper and then ran it through my crimper. I then lightly inked the edges and the top of the ruffles then flattened it out alittle. This is what it looks like when you pull the chips up. I made this card to embrace that springtime feeling that is in the air in the lead up to Easter. I know that for us in the southern hemisphere the whole connection with new life is lost, but at least in Melbourne there are still flowers which bloom throughout the colder months of the year.
