Compayne Gardens saw the installation of a corner opening minimal windows® sliding doors system to a modern extension to this 4-storey London terrace. The rear extension creates an ingress of natural light that filters down onto two floor levels as well as providing a light and airy kitchen and dining space.
Who said sliding doors weren’t cool? We’ve always known about the magic of sliding doors and this recent project in Essex couldn’t be a more perfect example. Find out how the Reynaers CP130 system was incorporated in this rear extension in our case study. #slidingdoors #slidingdoor #openplan #rearextension #architecture
This is a subtle contempory extension to a Victorian semi- detached house which lacked a connection to the outside. The bifolding glazed doors as well as the wall to ceiling glazed panel allow the extension to be flooded with light as well as being inkeeping with its surroundings. Tradtional render is offset with natural timber with a shadow gap cladding the extension. The L-shaped dormer which was resisted firstly at planning now provides the client withe the much needed extra light space.
