Ford fairlane

This 1966 Ford Fairlane GT is a modified example with a factory look masking a 550-horsepower tri-powered 406ci V8. Modifications include a 406 with 428 Super Cobra Jet crank and 428 SCJ aluminum heads, Tremec five-speed, four-wheel disc brakes, along with suspension and power delivery upgrades.

Recently completed this one, built from an AMT kit. It's relatively box stock, other than the aftermarket rims/tires, rear suspension converted over to a four link, and four wheel disc brakes I made from some washers. The paint is Dupli-Color Dark Cherry Metallic and Tamiya Light Gunmetal.

1967 Ford Fairlane 500

When Keith Blasius bought this 428 Cobra Jet Fairlane 500 in 1991, it was set up as a drag car, complete with a tired 428 motor, a messed-up interior.
