Gold thread

I worked this piece a couple of years ago, but as yet, I have not really published any images of it, only a glimpse! This is only part of the whole piece, based on couching and line. Made in India Passing thread is made of Fine Metallic Lurex thread wrapped on a cotton core thread. It is mainly used for Goldwork embroidery (Zardosi, Luneville, Tambour) for couching work. This is also known as Japan Thread/Badla Thread. These threads can be used with Machine and Hand Embroidery for Haute Couture embroidery on fabrics. Color: Dull Gold Diameter of Thread: 0.5MM
