Half wall entryway

It was important for Kristen and her husband, Luis, a director, to find a home in which they could raise a family and carve out a studio space dedicated to their work. They found their dream house in their dream city — a 118-year-old Victorian in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood. The house needed a heavy renovation to convert the two-bedroom, one-bathroom, single-story residence into a three-level home that kept the home’s original character but added modern elements.

I am sure there are those out there who are dealing with the dreaded half wall! You know the one that was put there by a spec builder like in my poor mother's new home. Also those ones created as support for the room.

Over the weekend we tackled panelling the half wall in our front entryway and I can't believe the difference that it's made. It one of those projects that when we were finished we asked ourselves, "why didn't we do this sooner!!" because we love it that much!
