Harley chopper

When Callan was a little kid, his godmother bought him a Harley-Davdison toy motorbike. It sparked his interest and eventual passion for motorcycles. He’s built a number of vintage Japanese motorcycles and custom builds over the years, although a Harley-Davidson had eluded, until now. With the budget to afford one and inspired by the 1970s Harley and Chopper scene, Callan bought a 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom in what would be his first custom project with the manufacturer.

Four years ago, Christian Newman turned up at the Born Free show with a Knucklehead chopper, and left with the People's Choice award. He's had an open invitation to the show ever since, but he hasn't accepted it—until now. Born Free 12 kicks off tomorrow, and Christian's pulled out all the stops with his latest entry: an eye-popping turbocharged Harley-Davidson chopper.
