I recently hung my favourite Ikea curtains in my breakfast nook and did all the things to make them look fancy. This is what I did: 1) Hang high and wide! I like to go a few inches below the ceiling and far enough to the side of the window so that the window is not covered by the curtain when the curtain is open. 2) Double them up!
