1569-70,Humayun's tomb(Maqbara-i Humayun) the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India.The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's 1st wife,Empress Bega Begum(also-Haji Begum),in 1569-70,designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas&his son,Sayyid Muhammad,Persian architects.It was the 1st garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent,is located in Nizamuddin East,close to the Dina-panah Citadel, also-Purana Qila(Old Fort),that Humayun found in 1533.It was the 1st structure to use red sandstone at such a scale.
