I mean I can’t even imagine an Indian household without a portion of curried lentils in their daily meals. Dals do complete an Indian meal, and also make it wholesome and well-balanced. One of my all-time favorites is the Whole Masoor Dal Recipe, which is what this post is all about. This is a creamy, spiced, tasty and vegan dish of Sabut Masoor Dal, which can be done within minutes.

It’s a delicious variation of dal which you must try! Super easy to make, very quick and best way to get all the nutrients❤️

Because you’ll end up eating a lot more of it then you would in usual curry form.. so get them protein and do try it out 💪

Ingredients I used: 
- 2 to 3 tbsp oil 
- 3/4 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (optional)
- few curry leaves 
- 6 to 7 large garlic cloves 
- 1 large onion (or 2 small) 
- 1 small tomato 
- 1 cup soaked masoor dal 
- salt
- turmeric 
- red chilli powder 
- garam masala 
- coriander powder 
- coriander leaves 
- Kasuri methi (I didn’t add but mom recommends) 
- hot water as needed
