Excellent full-length view of Richard, showing how the doublet's snug lower sleeves extend over the backs of his hands. The sleeves are styled to leave room under the arms for the full linen shirt. Go close to see the doublet's stitching and studs, as well as the metal studs on the top belt. The brown belt where his dagger is mounted will disappear, replaced by a belt with a scabbard for this new sword. He's without his strappy black boots because the boots are being mended (a plot point!).

"Galavant" S1 King Richard in his incredibly luxe wedding clothes. This shot does a good job showing the deep pleats in this heavy fabric and the fullness of the sleeves. This garment turns up in other medieval-ish shows but seems to have been created initially for "Galavant" (2015). This crown also appears in other series after its first outing in "Galavant." (In S1, the childish King Richard is never without a crown, even in bed, so insecure is he. But S2 changes everything....)
