Made with 2x 23cm banana cakes with crumb coat then buttercream icing between and ombré effect around them. Firm blue jelly was fork mashed to put into the hollowed centre of the top cake. All decorations, except sitting mermaids, are made with gum paste in moulds but could have been chocolate in hindsight. Sprinkles around base were purchased from a cake decorating shop.

I have to admit, this one may be my new favorite. My Bonus Niece, Aurora, had her 10th Birthday party today. I made her a mermaid cake to fit her pool party theme.
